Yes, I actually bought and paid for both of these programs. I tested over a dozen "spyware detection" programs and NOT ONE found all the spyware. After looking at so many, comparing prices and evaluating stability and speed, I decided on the two listed above. But I'm also looking at:

I was recently helping a friend with her computer which she thought might be infected with a virus. We didn't find any virus, but we did find 825 spywares! Her computer was almost unusable. I've checked over a dozen friends' and families' computers and only one was free from spyware. Think it can't happen to you? Well it happened to me! Believe it or not, but my computer was one of those where I found spyware. I was actually the victim of a trojan/keylogger. As the admin of this site, you can bet I'm more than careful about such things. I still don't know how my computer was compromised, but suffice to say, it was a major shock. I already have a virus detector and practice extremely safe online habits, but even that was not good enough. I think I got it from visiting a site that had an active X or java delivery method. I have since disabled all java and active-X . Thankfully I caught it before anything really bad happened. But it was good for me because I got to test a lot of different applications that claimed to remove spyware and provide protection for the future. I really did a lot of research and I ended up buying Spy Sweeper and Spyware Nuker .No one program found all the spyware on my system, so I had to run these two. They are both subscription based systems, with full automatic updates and a "shield" system that monitors the Windows registry for modifications that are suspicious. I found them really easy to use and although a little slow on "full scans" it does work across networks (found a trojan in a screen saver on a networked computer) so I think they are well worth the money. (This was in addition to the trojan/keylogger on my computer.) Both offer free trials that you can download and install on your computer. Which I'd recommend you do, because if you have a trojan or keylogger on your computer you'll want to get rid of it before you make any online purchases!
